Eochaid's name, without any other description, is found in the "Martyrology of Tallagh" on to-day. There is a St. Eochod mentioned as a companion of St. Columkille; but the present seems to have been a different person. A festival to Eochaid of Uisneach is entered at this date in the "Martyrology of Donegal" (O'Hanlon).
